It combines automatic moderation (AutoMod) with manual moderation commands and per-server configuration. Everything is controlled with Slash commands. The bot stores each server's configuration and warning history separately. ### What problems it is built for - Spam and flooding in busy channels. - Banned words and slurs in several languages, including attempts to evade filters. - Invite links from other servers and unwanted links. - Mass mentions. - Repeat offenders who come back after a warning. - Keeping a record of warnings and moderation actions for the moderator team. - Locking channels quickly during raids or arguments. - Cleaning up many messages at once. ### Who uses the moderation bot - Server owners who want automatic protection without hiring many moderators. - Moderator teams who want a log of every action in one channel. - Communities that speak Hebrew, Arabic, Russian or several languages at once. - Small servers that do not need a complicated setup. ### AutoMod: how it works - AutoMod checks every message in the server unless the author is exempt. - If a rule is violated, the message is deleted and the user's violation count goes up. - The user receives a direct message explaining which rule was violated and the violation number. - Punishments grow with repeated violations inside a 24-hour window. - The 24-hour window resets automatically, so occasional mistakes are not punished forever. - Every action is written to the configured log channel with full details. - A master switch turns the whole AutoMod system on or off. ### AutoMod rule: banned words - Detects banned words in 8 languages: English, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese. - Detects spacing tricks, for example letters separated by spaces. - Detects dot tricks, for example letters separated by periods. - Each server can add its own banned words in any language. - Custom words are stored per server and never affect other servers. - Custom words can be removed at any time and listed on demand. ### AutoMod rule: spam - Counts how many messages a user sends in a short interval. - Default: 5 messages within 5 seconds. - Both numbers can be changed per server. - The rule can be turned off per server. ### AutoMod rule: excessive capital letters - Looks at the share of capital letters in a message. - Default: 70 percent capitals, in messages with at least 10 letters. - The threshold and the minimum length can be changed per server. - The rule can be turned off per server. ### AutoMod rule: mentions - Limits how many users or roles can be mentioned in one message. - Default maximum: 5. - The limit can be changed per server, and the rule can be turned off. ### AutoMod rule: links - Can block all links (http, https and www). - Off or on per server. ### AutoMod rule: Discord invites - Deletes messages that contain Discord invite links. - Also removes the create-invite permission from @everyone at the server level, so members cannot create new invites. - Turning the rule off restores the permission. - This goes beyond deleting messages: it prevents invites from being created at all. ### AutoMod exemptions - Members with the configured moderator role are exempt. - Members with the configured immune role are exempt. - Administrators and members with the Manage Messages permission are always exempt automatically. - Roles can be exempted without giving them moderation commands by using the immune role. ### Progressive punishments - First violation within 24 hours: the message is deleted, the user gets a warning by direct message, and the action is logged. - Second violation within 24 hours: the message is deleted and the user gets a 10-minute timeout. - Third violation within 24 hours: the message is deleted and the user gets a 1-hour timeout. - Fourth violation and later within 24 hours: the user is banned. - The counter resets automatically after the 24-hour window. - Serial offenders cannot hide behind a first warning; escalation is automatic. - Each step is logged with the rule that was violated. ### Moderation commands #### /ban [member] [reason] [delete_days] - Permanently bans a member. - Optionally deletes up to 7 days of that member's messages. - Sends the member a direct message with the reason before banning. - Required permission: Ban Members. #### /kick [member] [reason] - Removes a member from the server. - The member can rejoin with a new invite. - Required permission: Kick Members. #### /timeout [member] [minutes] [reason] - Mutes a member using Discord's native timeout feature. - Duration: 1 to 10,080 minutes (up to 7 days). - The action is written to the log channel. - Required permission: Moderate Members. #### /untimeout [member] [reason] - Immediately removes an active timeout. - Required permission: Moderate Members. #### /warn [member] [reason] - Issues an official warning. - The warning is stored and the member receives a direct message with the current warning number. - Required permission: Manage Messages. #### /warnings [member] - Shows the member's full warning history. - Each entry has the date, the reason and the moderator who issued it. - Required permission: Manage Messages. #### /clearwarnings [member] - Deletes every stored warning for a member. - Required permission: Manage Server. #### /purge [amount] [member] - Bulk deletes up to 100 messages in one go. - Can filter to messages from one specific member only. - Required permission: Manage Messages. #### /slowmode [seconds] [channel] - Sets the delay between messages in a channel. - Range: 0 (off) to 21,600 seconds (6 hours). - Required permission: Manage Channels. #### /lock [channel] [reason] - Prevents @everyone from sending messages in the channel by editing channel permissions. - Required permission: Manage Channels. #### /unlock [channel] [reason] - Restores the send-messages permission for @everyone in a locked channel. - Required permission: Manage Channels. ### Configuration commands (all require Manage Server) #### /config view - Shows an embed with all current settings for this server. - A good first step after adding the bot. #### /config logchannel [channel] - Chooses the channel where moderation and AutoMod logs are sent. - Recommended to make it a private channel visible only to moderators. #### /config modrole [role] - Sets the moderator role. - Members with this role are fully exempt from AutoMod. #### /config immunerole [role] - Sets an additional role that is exempt from AutoMod checks. - Useful for trusted members, bots or staff who are not moderators. #### /config automod [enabled] - Master switch for the entire AutoMod system. #### /config spam [enabled] [limit] [interval] - Configures spam detection. - Default: 5 messages per 5 seconds. #### /config caps [enabled] [threshold] [min_length] - Configures the excessive-capitals filter. - Default: 70 percent in messages of at least 10 letters. #### /config invites [enabled] - Turns invite blocking on or off. - Also edits @everyone's create-invite permission at the server level. #### /config links [enabled] - Blocks or allows all links. #### /config mentions [enabled] [limit] - Limits mentions per message. - Default maximum: 5. #### /config addword [word] - Adds a custom banned word for this server, in any language. #### /config removeword [word] - Removes a custom banned word from this server's list. #### /config listwords - Lists all custom banned words that were added to this server. ### Setup guide: first 10 minutes 1. Invite BoundRealms Mod to your server from https://www.boundrealms.net/mod (the button "Add to server"). 2. Approve the permissions. Administrator gives full functionality; see the permission list below for the alternative. 3. In Server Settings, Roles, drag the "BoundRealms Mod" role above the roles of the members it should moderate. 4. Create a private text channel for logs, for example #mod-log. 5. Run /config logchannel and choose that channel. 6. Run /config modrole and choose your moderator role. 7. Optionally run /config immunerole for trusted roles. 8. Run /config view to check everything. 9. Adjust spam, caps, mentions, links and invites with the /config commands to match your community. 10. Add custom banned words with /config addword if your community needs them. ### Permissions - The invite link requests Administrator so that every feature works without extra steps. - If you prefer to give only what is needed, grant: Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members, Manage Messages, Manage Channels and Manage Roles. - Manage Channels is needed for /lock, /unlock and /slowmode. - Manage Roles and the server-level permission edit are used by invite blocking. - Commands check the permission of the person using them, as listed under each command. ### Troubleshooting - Timeout or ban does not work: the bot's role must be above the target member's highest role. Drag the "BoundRealms Mod" role higher in Server Settings, Roles. The bot cannot moderate members whose role is equal or higher. - Commands do not show up: type / and wait a moment for Discord to load commands; make sure the bot is in the server and its role can use application commands in that channel. - A trusted role is being moderated: use /config immunerole or /config modrole for that role. - Messages with invite links are not deleted: check /config view and confirm invite blocking is on. - Members can still create invites after turning invite blocking on: confirm the bot has permission to manage the server-level permissions of @everyone and that its role is high enough. - Nothing appears in the log channel: run /config logchannel again and confirm the bot can send messages in that channel. - A word is not detected: add it with /config addword, including spelling variants. - Too many false positives: raise the spam limit or caps threshold, or exempt a role with /config immunerole. ### Example configurations - Strict announcement community: automod on, links blocked, invites blocked, mentions limit 3, caps threshold 60. - Casual chat server: automod on, links allowed, invites blocked, spam default, caps default. - Hebrew gaming community: automod on, custom Hebrew words added, spam limit raised slightly for fast chat, log channel private. - Multilingual community: keep the 8 built-in languages and add local slang with /config addword. - Server with trusted bots: use /config immunerole for the bots' role. ## Detailed reference: Economy Bot Economy Bot adds a private economy to a Discord server. Each server has its own currency name and emoji, its own balances and its own role shop. What happens in one server never affects another. ### What it is for - Rewarding activity with coins. - Giving members a reason to come back every day. - Selling roles (for example cosmetic or color roles) for coins. - A friendly competition with a leaderboard. ### Member commands #### /balance [user] - Shows your balance, or another member's balance. #### /daily - Gives a daily reward. - Cooldown: 24 hours per user. - The amount is set by the server admins. #### /work - Earns a random amount of coins. - The amount range and the cooldown are set by the server admins. #### /pay - Transfers coins from you to another member of the same server. #### /shop - Shows the server's role shop with prices. #### /buy - Buys a role from the shop with your coins. - The bot gives you the role automatically. #### /leaderboard - Shows the top 10 richest members of the server. - The first three places get gold, silver and bronze medals. ### Admin commands #### /eco config - Shows all current economy settings for the server. #### /eco currency - Changes the currency name and emoji. #### /eco daily - Sets how many coins members receive from /daily. #### /eco work - Sets the reward range for /work and its cooldown. #### /eco give, /eco take, /eco set, /eco reset - Manual balance management: give coins, take coins, set an exact balance, or reset a member's balance. #### /shop-add and /shop-remove - Add a role to the shop with a custom price, or remove it. ### Setup guide for admins 1. Invite Economy Bot from https://www.boundrealms.net/economy. 2. Run /eco currency to choose the name and emoji of your currency. 3. Run /eco daily to choose the daily reward. 4. Run /eco work to choose the work reward range and cooldown. 5. Create the roles you want to sell and move the bot's role above them. 6. Run /shop-add for each role with a price. 7. Tell members to try /daily, /work, /shop and /leaderboard. ### Tips - The bot's role must be above any role it sells, otherwise it cannot give the role to buyers. - Start with a small daily reward and adjust after a week. - Use /leaderboard in a dedicated channel to keep the economy visible. - Use /eco reset only when you really want to start a new season. ### Common economy questions - Is the currency shared between servers? No. Every server has an isolated economy. - Can members send coins to each other? Yes, with /pay. - Can I change the currency name later? Yes, with /eco currency. - Can I remove a role from the shop? Yes, with /shop-remove. - Can admins adjust balances? Yes, with /eco give, take, set and reset. ## Detailed reference: Discord server list The server list at https://www.boundrealms.net/servers is a free directory of Discord communities. Visitors can browse, search, vote and join. Server managers can add and manage their own listing. ### For visitors - Browse by category: gaming, Minecraft, general community, anime, music, programming, art, study, roleplay, other. - Filter by language: Hebrew, English, Arabic, Russian, other. - Search by name or description. - Sort by recently bumped, most members, most votes or newest. - Each card shows the icon, name, category, language, member count, online count and vote count. - The Join button opens the server's Discord invite. - A New badge marks servers added in the last week. - The top three servers by votes in the last 30 days are featured at the top. ### Voting - A logged-in visitor can vote for a server once every 12 hours per server. - Server managers cannot vote for a server they manage. - Vote rankings use the last 30 days, so older popularity does not stay on top forever. ### For server managers - Adding a server is free. - Only people with management permission in a server can list it, based on the permissions Discord reports at login. - A manager can have up to 5 listings. - A manager can bump a listing to the top once every 4 hours. - A manager can edit the description, category and language, or remove the listing at any time. ### How to add a server 1. Open the server list page and press "Add your server". 2. Log in with Discord. 3. Choose a server you manage. 4. Create a permanent invite in Discord: right-click a channel, choose Invite People, edit the invite link and set it to never expire. 5. Paste the invite link into the form. 6. Write a description of 20 to 300 characters. Links are not allowed in descriptions. 7. Choose a category and a language. 8. Publish. The listing appears immediately if all checks pass. ### Automatic checks on every invite - The invite must belong to the server you selected. - The invite must never expire. - The server must not be age-restricted. - The server must have at least 5 members. - The description must be between 20 and 300 characters and contain no links. - Member and online counts are refreshed automatically about every 30 minutes. - If an invite stops working repeatedly, the listing is hidden until it works again. ### Safety and moderation of the list - Any logged-in visitor can report a server: adult content, scam or spam, hate, broken invite, or other. - Several reports hide a listing automatically until an administrator reviews it. - Administrators can hide, approve or delete listings. - Only the data needed for the listing is displayed; descriptions are plain text. ### Server list questions - Is it free? Yes, listing and browsing are free. - Do I need a bot in my server to be listed? No. You only need to manage the server and provide a permanent invite. - Can I list more than one server? Yes, up to 5. - Why was my server rejected? The usual reasons are an invite that expires, an invite from another server, an age-restricted server, fewer than 5 members, or links in the description. - How do I get more votes? Ask your community to vote every 12 hours. - How do I report a server? Press Report on its card. ## Detailed reference: announced bots (not released) ### Ticket Bot - Thread-based support tickets that members open with buttons. - Automatic closing with saved HTML transcripts. - Configurable staff roles and ticket category. - Priority tags and ticket statistics. - A support panel that can be customized per server. - Status: announced, not released. ### Music Bot - Playback from YouTube and Spotify links. - A queue with vote-skip. - A DJ role that restricts control to staff. - Volume control and audio filters per server. - 24/7 mode and automatic disconnect. - Status: announced, not released. ### Utility Bot - Reaction roles and button roles. - Giveaways with entry requirements. - Multiple-choice polls with live results. - Scheduled reminders and messages. - A custom embed builder using Slash commands. - Status: announced, not released. ## Detailed reference: pricing and Premium - Free plan (current): all 11 moderation commands, all 13 configuration commands, AutoMod in 8 languages, progressive punishments, unlimited custom banned words, one moderation log channel and per-server isolated settings. Message content is read in memory only to apply AutoMod and is never stored. - Website login with Discord requests only the identify and guilds permissions. It does not request email or messages. - The login session is kept in the server's memory, lasts up to 24 hours and is deleted on logout or when the server restarts. - The website stores two small items in the browser's local storage: whether the cookie banner was dismissed, and the display preferences you chose (language, font, text size, theme). Neither contains personal data. - Moderation data is not used for advertising, marketing or analytics, and is not sold or shared with third parties. - The website may show Google AdSense advertisements on content pages, loaded only after the visitor accepts cookies. Discord and moderation data are never shared with the advertiser. - To ask what is stored about a server, or to request deletion, open a ticket in the official Discord server. Requests are answered within 30 days. - The server list stores only what a server manager submits (description, category, language, invite) plus public server information from Discord (name, icon, member and online counts). - Votes store the voter's Discord user ID and the time, to enforce the 12-hour limit. - Full policy: https://www.boundrealms.net/privacy ## Detailed reference: the website - Languages: the site is in Hebrew.
