These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BoundRealms Mod (Application ID 1532765106608406750) and the website at www.boundrealms.net. By adding the bot to your server or using the website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding BoundRealms Mod to a Discord server, using any of its commands, or accessing the website at www.boundrealms.net, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are adding the bot on behalf of a community or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that community to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

BoundRealms Mod is a Discord bot providing automated moderation services, including:

• AutoMod filtering with 8-language bad-word detection and custom blocked word lists.
• Progressive punishments: verbal warning → temporary timeout → ban, applied within a 24-hour violation window.
• 24 slash commands for moderation and configuration (11 moderation commands, 13 configuration commands).
• Moderation action logging to a server-defined log channel.

The service is provided free of charge. A paid "Premium" tier is planned for future release and will be governed by separate terms when available.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service in your country) to use this service. By using BoundRealms Mod, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.

4. Permitted Use

You may use BoundRealms Mod to:

• Automatically moderate message content in your Discord server.
• Configure AutoMod rules, blocked words, and punishment settings for your server.
• Issue moderation actions (warnings, timeouts, bans) against members of your server.
• View and manage moderation logs and warning histories for your server.

5. Prohibited Use

You may not use BoundRealms Mod to:

• Harass, target, discriminate against, or harm individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
• Abuse moderation commands to unfairly target, ban, or silence users without legitimate reason.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the bot's operation.
• Use the bot in servers that violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Attempt to overload or spam the bot with excessive commands to degrade performance.
• Configure custom blocked words with the intent of targeting specific users rather than moderating genuine rule violations.
• Use the bot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate removal of the bot from your server and reporting to Discord if appropriate.

6. Server Administrator Responsibilities

The person who adds BoundRealms Mod to a server (and server administrators generally) are responsible for:

• Configuring the bot appropriately for their community.
• Ensuring the bot's moderation actions comply with their server's rules and applicable law.
• Informing their server members that automated moderation is in place.
• Reviewing and clearing moderation records when appropriate.

We are not responsible for how server administrators configure or use the bot's moderation features. Moderation decisions made using the bot are the responsibility of the server administrator, not BoundRealms.

7. Availability & Modifications

BoundRealms Mod is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime, uninterrupted service, or that the bot will function without errors. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to add, change, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

BoundRealms Mod and the website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the bot will catch all prohibited content, that moderation actions will always be accurate, or that the service will be error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BoundRealms and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the bot or website, including but not limited to: missed moderation actions, unintended bans or timeouts, data loss, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (which is zero for the free tier).

10. Termination

You may stop using BoundRealms Mod at any time by removing it from your server.

We reserve the right to remove the bot from any server, restrict access, or discontinue the service entirely at any time, for any reason, with or without notice - particularly in cases of abuse, violation of these Terms, or violation of Discord's policies.

11. Third-Party Services

BoundRealms Mod operates on Discord's platform. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service. BoundRealms is not affiliated with Discord Inc.

The website is served via Cloudflare. Use of the website is also subject to Cloudflare's Terms of Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of BoundRealms Mod or the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
